— Two Arkansas sophomores have accepted invitations to play for the USA Collegiate National Team this summer.

Outfielder Dominic Fletcher and pitcher Matt Cronin will report to the USA Baseball facility in Cary, N.C., after the Razorbacks' season ends at the College World Series. The national team will play against teams from China, Japan and Cuba this summer in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

Fletcher and Cronin previously committed to play summer baseball together for the Wareham Gatemen in the Cape Cod League. They will be the 15th and 16th Arkansas players to play on the national team, which is being coached this year by LSU's Paul Mainieri and assisted by East Carolina's Cliff Godwin and Virginia's Brian O'Connor, among others.

Arkansas catcher Grant Koch played on the national team last year. Razorbacks coach Dave Van Horn has previously served as a head coach and assistant coach for Team USA, most recently in 2014.
