Allen tied for 6th at NFL Combine

Former Arkansas quarterback Austin Allen tied for sixth among his peers in the 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine on Saturday by running a 4.81 at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis.

Allen’s time tied with Richmond’s Kyle Lauletta behind the top five of South Florida’s Quenton Flowers (4.63), Ohio State’s J.T. Barrett (4.70), Wyoming’s Josh Allen (4.75), LSU’s Danny Etling (4.76) and Toledo’s Logan Woodside (4.79). Louisville speedster Lamar Jackson did not run the 40.

Allen was among the top five quarterbacks in the broad jump, finishing fifth with a leap of 112 inches to trail leader Josh Allen (119.0).

Allen finished ninth with a vertical jump of 29.5 inches behind the leader Josh Allen (33.5).
