— Baum Stadium will host a top 10 matchup this weekend for the first time in five years.

Arkansas is ranked No. 10 in this week's USA Today Coaches' Poll, while Kentucky, which will play the Razorbacks in both teams' SEC opener Friday at 6:30 p.m., is ranked No. 4.

It will be the first time two top 10 teams will play a series in Fayetteville since 2013 when LSU was No. 2 and Arkansas was No. 10. LSU won that series 2-1.

Kentucky (14-3) is coming off a series win over No. 5 Texas Tech over the weekend. The Wildcats also have notable wins over Houston, Sam Houston State and Louisiana-Lafayette this season.

Arkansas (11-4) beat Kent State 11-4 Sunday to win the best-of-three series, but the Razorbacks fell in the poll for the second consecutive week. Arkansas previously was ranked No. 7.

Prior to the Kentucky series, the Razorbacks will host Texas for two games at Baum Stadium on Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Wednesday at 4 p.m. The Longhorns (9-7) fell out of the top 25 following a series loss to No. 3 Stanford.
