— Arkansas may end up with a daily double from Bentonville West.

The Razorback program offered wide receiver Jadon Jackson (6-2 180 pounds, 4.4 seconds in the 40-yard dash) last year and could be on the verge of doing the same for linebacker Kendall Young (6-5, 220).

Young and Jackson both visited Arkansas unofficially on Saturday.

"It was amazing,” Young said. “I liked everything about it. The facilities, hanging out with the coaches, it was just a great visit.”

The Razorback staff let Young know that an offer was possibility, possibly as soon as next week.

He has offers from Missouri, Louisiana Tech, Army, Princeton, Rice and Southeast Missouri State, and interest from Arkansas, Oklahoma State and Tulsa.

“They’ve had the discussion with me and told me I'm still being evaluated,” Young said. “I know they're coming to our practice Tuesday, so hopefully they will pull the trigger soon."

Young makes it clear how much an offer from the Razorbacks would mean to him.

"It would mean a lot,” Young said. “I've always loved Arkansas. The facilities are really nice, the academics are good and everything about Arkansas is good. It would definitely put them way up there if they do offer."

Young likes to play violently.

"I try to hit as hard as I can on every play, “ Young said. “That’s kind of what I'm known for.”

The new Razorback coaching staff led by head coach Chad Morris is hoping that Jackson, a Pennsylvania native, might stick close to his adoptive home.

Jackson took an unofficial visit to Arkansas on Saturday.

"It was a good visit, it was good," Jackson said. "When we came in and took pictures and stuff, that was pretty fun.”

Jackson has offers from Arkansas, Arizona State, Auburn, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and Tulsa, among others.

"They're in my top five for sure," Jackson said of Arkansas. "Oklahoma State and Ole Miss are others I know are up there as of right now."

Jackson is not sure of his timetable for a decision because he may be an early enrollee.

"Well, I don't know yet when I'm going to graduate and sign, so I really don't know when I might commit,” Jackson said. “I'm just waiting to see right now."
