UA relay team advances at NCAA prelims

The Arkansas Razorbacks men's 400-meter relay team of Kenzo Cotton, Kemar Mowatt, Kevin Harris and Kristoffer Hari advanced to the NCAA Championships.

The Razorbacks ran 39.36 to take fifth. The top 12 individuals and top six relays advanced to the NCAA Championships, which will be held June 6-9 in Eugene, Ore.

Arkansas senior Kenzo Cotton took fifth the 200 (20.74) and also advanced in the 100 as well as running on the 400 relay.

Arkansas junior Cameron Griffth took fifth in 1,500 (3:43.14) and senior Larry Donald took 10th in the 110 hurdles (13.87).

In women's competition Arkansas' 400 relay team of Jada Baylark, Kiara Parker, Janeek Brown and Taliyah Brooks advanced by taking fifth in 43.90.

Razorbacks senior Nikki Hiltz, who didn't compete outdoors until the SEC meet because of a knee injury, took fifth in the 1,500 (4:13.33) to advance to Eugene. Freshman Janeek Brown took third in the 100 hurdles (12.9) and ran on the 40 relay.

Arkansas sophomore Devin Clark took sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:53.06) late Friday night.
