Tolefree's game winner came off an inbounds pass from Jailyn Mason with 2.8 seconds remaining. Tolefree caught the pass between two defenders at the top of the key, took one dribble to the free throw line and floated the ball, which bounced on the rim multiple times before falling through.

Arkansas (2-0) regained possession after UT-Arlington's Katie Ferrell missed a pair of free throws with five seconds remaining. Malica Monk rebounded the ball for the Razorbacks and called timeout, which allowed the team to advance the ball into the frontcourt on the throw in.

Arkansas led 36-34 at halftime and by as many as eight points, 62-54, in the fourth quarter, but the Lady Mavericks used an 11-2 run to take a 65-64 lead on Cierra Johnson's turnaround off the glass with 47 seconds to play.

The teams exchanged 13 leads and the game was tied 16 times.

Tolefree and Monk led the Razorbacks with 18 points apiece, and Monk led the team with eight rebounds and three assists. Tolefree, a junior college transfer from Conway, has scored 37 points in her first two games at Arkansas.

Johnson had 22 points and nine rebounds to lead UT-Arlington (1-1), and Lauren Billie added 21 points.
