Missouri quarterback Drew Lock accounted for four touchdowns — two passing and two rushing — and threw for 221 yards as the Missouri Tigers hammered the University of Arkansas 38-0 on Friday in Columbia, Mo.
The Tigers (8-4, 4-4 SEC) outgained the Hogs 408-187, including 181-52 on the ground.
Arkansas (2-10, 0-8) finished with the program's first 10-loss season.
Down 28-0, the Hogs went nowhere on their first drive of the second half, but Missouri fumbled the punt and Arkansas took over at its own 47. Forty-nine yards later, freshman Connor Noland's fourth-and-goal pass from the 4 was incomplete.
Missouri responded with a nine-play, 96-yard drive for a 35-0 lead. Lock hit Emanuel Hall for a 67-yard connection for the score.
Devwah Whaley took a screen pass from Noland 43 yards to the Missouri 35. The Hogs moved to the 30 before Noland was sacked on fourth and 5 for a loss of 9 yards. Missouri took over at its 42 and drove 37 yards for a 42-yard FG by Tucker McCann for a 38-0 advantage with 1:48 remaining in the third quarter. Neither team would score the rest of the way.
In the first half, Arkansas ran the ball 20 times for negative 21 yards — including 4 sacks — as Missouri accumulated a 28-0 lead.
The Tigers scored on the opening possession, going 75 yards in 11 plays. Lock ran in the touchdown from 9 yards out.
The Hogs stopped Missouri on the next two possessions, but Ty Storey threw an interception that was returned to the Arkansas 35 with 3:55 left in the first quarter. Six plays later, Lock ran it in again — this time from 3 yards — for a 14-0 edge.
On the next possession, Storey was stripped on a sack, and Akial Byers (Fayetteville) recovered the fumble in the end zone for a 21-0 Missouri lead with 12:33 left in the half.
After another three and out by Arkansas, Noland replaced Storey. He moved the Hogs 36 yards before getting sacked on fourth and 5 at the Missouri 40.
Arkansas held the Tigers on fourth and 2 from the Arkansas 2, but punted after gaining 4 yards. Missouri finished off the first-half scoring with a 43-yard drive capped by Lock's 6-yard TD pass to Hall.
Storey finished 4 of 7 for 24 yards, 1 interception and 1 fumble. Noland was 5 for 17 for 98 yards.
Whaley led the Hogs in rushing with 54 yards on 13 rushes. Rakeem Boyd had 5 yards on five carries after leaving the game with an injury.
Larry Rountree had 119 yards on 29 carries for Missouri.
