Razorback OL pledge Brady Latham sees future success for Arkansas

Brady Latham

— The records of his high school team and his future college team are the exact opposite, but Jenks (Okla.) offensive lineman Brady Latham feels good about where both are headed.

Latham (6-5, 290), whose Trojans are 5-1 so far this season, took his official visit this weekend and was on hand Saturday to see the Razorbacks (1-5) in a 65-31 loss to No. 1 Alabama Saturday in Fayetteville.

He was pleased with the improvement shown from the start of the season until now under first-year Razorbacks head coach Chad Morris.

”I had a good time,” Latham said. “I loved the game. You can see improvement. I really trust in Coach Morris and think he's an awesome coach. I had a great time with the other recruits. I just can't wait to be up here."

Latham is part Arkansas’ 20-member recruiting class for 2019 that is ranked 14th by Rivals, and the improvement by the current Razorbacks bodes well for the future.

"I knew this, but you can really see that Coach Morris is building a foundation,” Latham said. "They talked about that a lot while we were up here."

Latham got a chance to meet several of his fellow 2019 Arkansas pledges.

"My favorite part was meeting the new recruits because we follow each other on Twitter, but I hadn't been able to meet any of them face-to-face and talk to them,” Latham said. “So I really enjoyed that."

Latham believes the Arkansas staff did a good job on uncommitted recruits this weekend, including Mission Viejo (Calif.) Saddleback College offensive lineman Tim Anderson, who also took his official visit this weekend.

"Yes, he's a super cool guy and I hope he commits,” Latham said.
