Editor's Note: Tom Murphy is one of 61 voters in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. Each week, he reveals his ballot and offers insight into his votes.

Georgia made a move up to No. 2 after demolishing South Carolina on the road and stamping itself as the team to beat in the SEC East again. Clemson won by two on the road at Texas A&M, so the Tigers are still in my top four, along with No. 1 Bama and No. 4 Oklahoma, which has been very impressive.

Texas A&M remained on my ballot at No. 20 with the tough showing against Clemson. The Aggies are one of seven SEC teams on my list. No. 7 Auburn joins Alabama and Georgia in the top 10. Ole Miss is a new entry at No. 25, but Kentucky is also a worthy candidate for making the poll.

Notre Dame dropped a couple of spots to No. 10 after an unimpressive 24-16 victory over Ball State.

My top Group of 5 team is UCF once again at No. 17. However, Boise State is No. 2 with a bullet at No. 22 after its 62-7 beat-down of Connecticut. Also on the radar: South Florida. The Bulls took down Georgia Tech for Coach Charlie Strong, who is doing better than the man he replaced, Willie Taggart, whose Florida State team struggled to down Samford.
