Arkansas quarterback Jack Lindsey prepares to throw the ball Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019, during practice at the university's practice facility in Fayetteville.

— Scholarships were awarded to five of Arkansas' football walk-ons Thursday night.

Receivers Tyson Morris and Jimmie Stoudemire, quarterback Jack Lindsey, tight end Blake Kern and defensive back Brenden Young were awarded scholarships during a team meeting, a team spokesperson said. Morris and Young are seniors, Lindsey and Kern are juniors, and Stoudemire is a sophomore.

Lindsey played in all 12 games for the Razorbacks last season as the team's holder on field goals and extra-point attempts. Morris (11 games) and Kern (10) also played in the majority of the team's games, primarily on special teams. Young played in two games on special teams.

Stoudemire is eligible to play this year after sitting out the 2018 season.

Arkansas now has 83 players on scholarship. The NCAA limit for scholarship football players is 85.
