Hogs offer Joe T. freshman O-lineman E'Marion Harris

Freshman offensive lineman E’Marion Harris received an offer from Arkansas during his visit to Fayetteville on Saturday.

Harris (6-6, 305 pounds) of Joe T. Robinson High School in Little Rock, also has offers from Alabama and Texas State.

"We were taking pictures and I wasn't smiling in my pictures and he was like 'What if I told you you got an offer?' I started smiling big," Harris said of Arkansas coach Chad Morris. "Not a lot of kids in my grade get an offer."

He's the son of former Arkansas defensive end Elliott Harris.

"My dad was proud," Harris said. "He was proud of me. He said keep up the good work and just keep getting better."

Harris, 14, was named a Freshman All-American by national recruiting analyst Tom Lemmings and MaxPreps.

He was the sixth 2022 prospect to receive an offer from Arkansas. The Razorbacks have four players from the school on the roster, including running back TJ Hammonds, defensive end David Porter, receiver Koilan Jackson and defensive end Zach Williams.

"I would feel proud and honored to join that group," Harris said.

Several of his teammates also visited today, including juniors PJ Hall, Kielb Pree and JT Towers, and sophomores Hunter Smith, DJ Withers and Buddy Gaston.

As a freshman, Harris, who has a 3.2 GPA, made the offensive line checks for the Senators.
