Gone in under 10 hours: Tickets sold out for Fayetteville Super Regional

Arkansas fans cheer during an NCAA Tournament game against South Carolina on Sunday, June 10, 2018, in Fayetteville.

— Tickets for Arkansas' NCAA super regional matchup against Ole Miss are sold out.

The sellout was announced less than 10 hours after tickets went on sale shortly following the conclusion of the Razorbacks' 6-0 victory over TCU late Sunday night. The win clinched the Fayetteville Regional championship and a home super regional for Arkansas, which is the No. 5 national seed in this year's NCAA Tournament.

A small allotment of general admission tickets in the Hog Pen have been reserved for University of Arkansas students and may be purchased for $20 on a first-come, first-served basis starting Wednesday. Students are limited to one ticket per person. Tickets will be available online and at the Razorback ticket office.

Most super regional tickets were claimed before the public sale. Arkansas' roughly 6,400 season-ticket holders are given first right to purchase postseason tickets, and 600 tickets are distributed to official parties of both teams.

Baum-Walker Stadium's listed seating capacity is 10,737.

All-session tickets for this week's super regional are being resold on the secondary market for between $98-$120 apiece in general admission areas, and for between $375-$970 apiece in reserved seating areas, according to StubHub.com.

Face value for all-session tickets is $40 in all areas.

The Razorbacks are hosting a super regional for the second consecutive season and fourth time overall.

Arkansas sold 33,255 tickets for its three-game home super regional last season against South Carolina. The actual attendance for that series was 34,420, a discrepancy that can be explained by non-ticketed attendees including players, media and stadium workers.

There were 31,246 tickets distributed and 29,606 tickets scanned for the Razorbacks' three regional games over the weekend against TCU and Central Connecticut. The regional was not a sellout.
