Pregame

Arkansas and Stony Brook are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. We'll have to watch the weather closely today, but it appears there is a window to get the game played, which is why the start time was pushed up an hour.

It is cold in Fayetteville and the temperature likely won't get much higher than 40 today. It is overcast and windy.

Arkansas will start freshman right-hander Connor Noland on the mound for the third time. Noland has had two no-decisions this season and has a 2.08 ERA. A quarterback on the football team, he did not go through either of the Razorbacks' first two spring practices yesterday or this morning.

Stony Brook is going to throw freshman right-hander Nick DeGennaro, who has appeared in two games this season and has a 2.57 ERA in seven innings. Today will be his first start.

One notable roster change today is that freshman Trey Harris will start as Arkansas' designated hitter. Harris played in his first game Wednesday against Memphis and went 0-for-3, but drew two walks. The Razorbacks have not had good production from Matt Goodheart or Jordan McFarland at DH this season.
