Missouri has cut its deficit to 4-2 with Clayton Peterson singling to lead off the inning and Luke Mann doubling him in with one out. Kameron Misner nearly tied the game with a two-run homer, but left fielder Christian Franklin hauled it in on the warning track.

Ramage is taken out in favor of reliever Kevin Kopps with closer Matt Cronin beginning to loosen in the bullpen.

Kopps gives an RBI single to Chris Cornelius before getting out of the inning.

Martin led off the Razorback first with an infield single and stole second with two outs. He came home on an error by Tiger shortstop Chris Cornelius, who bobbled Dominic Fletcher's grounder and then threw wildly past first.

Sikkema did pick off Fletcher to end the inning.

Noland walked Missouri leadoff Josh Holt, Jr., on five pitches, and then went 2-0 on Luke Mann to bring about a visit from Arkansas pitching coach Matt Hobbs.

Mann then reached safely on a bunt and Arkansas shortstop Casey Martin dropped a throw on what would have been a double play.

Noland fanned Kameron Misner for the first out of the inning after Misner hit one just what would have been at least a bases-clearing double.

He then got out of the inning without allowing a run when he threw another grounder that resulted in a double play on a force out at second and runner's interference.
