Former Arkansas receiver La'Michael Pettway announced his transfer destination on Monday.

Pettway, who on Jan. 15 wrote in a post on his Twitter account he would be leaving the Razorbacks program and pursuing a graduate transfer, has landed at Iowa State. He chose the Cyclones over finalists Auburn and Oklahoma State.

“Deciding what’s right for you, your family, & teammates can sometimes prove to be difficult. … Nothing personal, I just have to do what’s best for my family and I," Pettway wrote in January.

Pettway finished the 2018 season as Arkansas' leading receiver after totaling 499 yards and four touchdowns. He was tied for the team lead in receptions (30) with tight end Cheyenne O'Grady. The Nashville, Ark., native caught five passes for a career-high 93 yards and two touchdowns in the team's season-opening win against Eastern Illinois.

Pettway caught six passes for 92 yards in nine games as a sophomore in 2017.

He was a four-star prospect, according to ESPN, out of Nashville High School, the No. 8 player in Arkansas and No. 60 receiver in the nation.
