Arkansas receiver Treylon Burks runs for a touchdown during a game against Tennessee on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas receiver Treylon Burks has been added to the Biletnikoff Award watch list, it was announced Monday.

The award is presented annually to the top receiver in college football regardless of position.

A sophomore from Warren, Burks leads the Razorbacks with 598 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 39 receptions. He has surpassed the 100-yard mark three times this season and finished with 90-plus yards in two other games.

One week after not playing in Arkansas’ narrow loss at Auburn because of a knee injury, Burks totaled a career-high 137 yards and a touchdown on 11 catches in a win over Ole Miss. He then followed that performance with a seven-catch, 117-yard, two-touchdown showing at Texas A&M.

On Nov. 21, he eclipsed 1,000 career receiving yards against LSU, tying former Arkansas receiver Boo Williams as the fastest Razorback to reach the mark (18 games).

Burks’ six touchdowns rank sixth in the SEC and 25th nationally.

Arkansas is scheduled to travel to Missouri on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network.
