Malzahn departs UA for Tulsa

FAYETTEVILLE - Several sources in Arkansas and Tulsa have confirmed Mondaymorning a Sunday night Tulsa television station report that Arkansasoffensive coordinator Gus Malzahn is leaving the Razorbacks to becomeco-cordinator at the University of Tulsa under new Tulsa coach Todd Graham.Malzahn may even be announced today during Graham's previously scheduled 2p.m. press conference.

Malzahn was the offensive coordinator/receivers coach at Arkansas underHouston Nutt for one year after being a three-time state championship highschool coach, twice at Shiloh Christian in Springdale and then in 2005 atSpringdale High School.

The Razorbacks went 10-4 and won the SEC West championship in 2006.
