Lady'Backs , Lewis tied for second in Knoxville event

The University of Arkansas women's golf team posted a second-round 297 and are tied for second overall at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate in Knoxville, Tenn., Saturday.

Arkansas is hanging tough with several good teams trailing leader and sixth-ranked Florida by five strokes. The Gators lead the field with a 577 that includes rounds of 289-288. The 20 th-ranked Lady Razorbacks (285-297 ) are tied with No. 14 Purdue (291-291 ) with 582 and is three strokes ahead of No. 21 Denver (293-292 ).

Senior Stacy Lewis continues to lead the Lady Razorbacks. The Woodlands, Texas, native posted an even par 71 and is tied for second overall with a 140 (69-71 ). Junior Lucy Nunn is tied for 20 th overall with a 147 (69-78 ).
