Diamond Hogs travel to LSU for three-game weekend set

The Arkansas baseball Razorbacks are back in action this weekend at Baton Rouge, La., facing the LSU Tigers for a three-game SEC series.

The opener is slated for 7 p.m. tonight, with Saturday's first pitch set for 3 p.m. and Sunday's set for 1 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium. Tonight's and Sunday's games are scheduled to be televised by College Sports Television.

In their last outing, the Diamond Hogs (13-6 ) snapped a three-game losing skid with a 9-4 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Lincoln, Neb., on Wednesday. Arkansas' victory ended the Huskers' 14-game win streak.

Arkansas head coach Dave Van Horn will be seeking his 800 th win this weekend. Van Horn has 799 wins in his 20-year career.

LSU (12-6 ) was also victorious Wednesday, downing Tulane 7-5 to end a fivegame slide. The Tigers were swept by Tennessee in their SEC-opening three-game series in Knoxville, Tenn., last weekend.
