Ole Miss-Arkansas set for pay-per-view Published: Tuesday, October 14, 2008 PRINT E-MAIL Network TV is skipping the Oct. 25 Arkansas-Ole Miss game but Razorback fans unable to attend the 6 p.m. kickoff at Reynolds Razorback Stadium can see the clash of new Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino and old Arkansas coach Houston Nutt on pay-per-view TV. Arkansas director of athletics Jeff Long on Monday announced both the 6 p.m. kickoff time and the pay per view telecast. The Arkansas-Ole Miss game has been widely anticipated throughout Arkansas since Nutt became Ole Miss' coach last November. " With the Ole Miss game already a sellout we wanted to give fans who do not have a ticket the opportunity to watch the Razorbacks play a key Southeastern Conference game, " Long said through a UA sports information press release. " The outstanding turnout for home games and the response we received from the two previous pay-per-view offerings made this an easy decision. " According to the UA, per SEC television regulations, the game is available through cable systems in Arkansas and Mississippi and to small dish owners who subscribe to DirecTV or Dish Network in the two states. The cost of the pay-per-view broadcast is $ 34. 99. The game will also be available for purchase through ArkansasRazorbacks. com and may also be made available outside Arkansas and Mississippi via ESPN GamePlan.
