Whole bunch of 7-5 teams for them to choose from isn't there? We'll see if the lobbying by Jerry J. makes a difference. The big thing is how much the hog fans love to fill up the Cotton Bowl. That above all else is what works in our favor. $$$$ We've got the extra bowl practices needed for this young team to develop. Arkansas played better as a team. LSU played better as a team than they have. LSU was bigger, faster and stronger. That is what we must change to become a real upper tier team and that's going to take some serious success in recruiting. Oh, and is the Cotton Bowl field flat??? Go Hogs!
Welcome to the band wagon! I have made several posts regarding the chances of Mallett winning the Heisman next year. He has a very good chance to win it next year. Here is the rub though. The Hogs must defeat the big boys on the schedule next year for him to take the stiff-arm trophy home. Frankly that's going to mean coming up with some defensive talent to unleash. Can the team become complete enough quick enough for it to happen next year?
Golden boot stays with Arkansas for another year! Teams that beat Arkansas this year will see this game and breathe a big sigh of relief that they don't have to play the Hogs now. Arkansas wins out including Cotton Bowl. Go Hogs!
Heismann? We are going to have to win a lot more games next year than most think we can to give Ryan a shot at the Heismann before he becomes the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft (provided his left knee holds up). There isn't much time considering how unlikely it is he will be back for his senior season. Heck of a job Ryan! Go Hogs!
Wish Dyer well Auburn. Don't blame him at all considering the depth and talent of running backs already in place at Arkansas. Dyer is 5'9" and not the big back preferred for the Arkansas offense. Sounds like he made the best decision for himself and doesn't deserve criticism for going out of state.
Here's your song gator fans. "We're off to see the wizard the wonderful wizard of Oz." Sing this as you prance down the yellow flag road to the championship.
Good move Meyer. Smart. 30K to help ensure a shot at the national title. 30K to help change the perception of voters in the polls and national media. This one calculated move on your part to help you appear to join the downtrodden victims of officiating in the SEC instead of really having the path to your title cushioned by the yellow flags strewn to create that path for you. Good one!
So since it has not been determined whether or not they are candidates to be replacements during the suspension period it is to be presumed that they are suspended with pay?

HOG CALLS: Arkansas stuck in fad-chasing mode
Barnhill as a practice facility? Practice? We're talking about practice?
Anyway. . . This question has a one word answer. Recruiting. End of story.

Bothered by officiating, Hogs get response from SEC
Remember the call on Crawford in the Ole Miss game last year that gave them the game? Which crew did that game? (notice "did" versus "officiated"?)
