Long’s tall order: Determining Petrino’s fate

I would venture to say that if there is indeed a Camp 2 (fire now) it makes up less than 10% of the fan base i.e. the few still fuming mad about Nutt. I think we all want to see what Long uncovers, but if what we know now is the extent ... discipline, add new language to the contract, have a public apology session and move on.

There are so many people who I've been disappointed in ... Tiger Woods, Bill Clinton, Pitino ... but when I think of those guys now, I think of their golf game, their politics and their basketball now ... not their personal failings.

This too shall pass.

AD not ready to set timetable

Re-assign her within the university is the best answer, but can you imagine what she will have to endure if she continues working for the university? I don't see a way around settling.

Maybe take a chunk of BP's benefit package for the settlement as part of his discipline?

I'm really disappointed in coach P but am proud that fans are letting the administration carry out their work without burning couches or excusing the behavior. We've seen too many examples of fan bases trying to explain away bad behavior. Petrino has taken personal responsibility, which is the first step, and Long needs to make sure there aren't any more shoes to drop.

If what we know now is the extent of the problem, he should be disciplined, new language should be added to his contract, and there should be a public apology and press conference to get everything out in the open.

Then it's time to move on.

Hogs AD dealing with one big headache

We definitely have a scarlet A right now, but like most scandals ... this, too, shall pass. I'm disappointed in coach petrino but I do think -- much like Clinton/Lewinsky (who also had a job in the government) -- this is a public lie about a private matter.

Unless there is more to the story, he should be reprimanded -- publicly apologize at a press conference and give the media cart blanche to ask all their questions at one event. Reprimand him, add language to his contract, and then move on and answer no more questions about it.

What hurts the most -- other than the humiliation Becky must feel -- is that the focus is away from where it should be: our outstanding players.

No matter what, Hog fans need to fully support the players at the spring game, fill the stadium and support the team throughout the the year with no distractions.

Arkansas rallies from 17 down, beats Auburn on the road

No one said monumental achievement ... but feel free to be douchy.

Team won ... it's like, better than losing ... so people are pleased.

BTW, we matched last year's win total yesterday.

Arkansas’ play draws a crowd

I'm coming for the Michigan game ... hopefully a sellout. These guys are playing hard and deserve support from Razorback Nation!

Powell presents hopeful outlook

Glad he is coming back and that he reversed course and said nice things about the coach but Bud Walton will be a tomb again next season if Pel comes back. Wish Pel well at Western Ky. Or similar.

Top sports stories of 2010: No. 6: Arkansans fuel Auburn offense, run to title game

Auburn = Cheater U. Anyone associated with that program is not a person of character, and I don't think I'm the only fan who is fed up with the media giving another SEC West program PR they don't deserve.

Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long announced the implementation of the Razorback Seat Value Plan,

I'm fine with an increase for the premium seats. We need to jump ahead of Ole Miss, South Carolina and Kentucky and start nipping at Auburn's heels to get into the upper tier of the SEC.

I don't hate anything as much as navy/orange. We're coming for you, barners!
