Called out, dialed in

This is the time of year for the defense to start playing like they know how. There were unnecessary penalties that led to SC scores but, the defensive intensity was there. Keep it up from here on out.

Arkansas linebacker arrested, charged with possession

A stupid decision for a young man with so much to look forward to! Hope he learns much from this.

LIKE IT IS: NCAA Tournament proves bigger is better

Its to bad it didn't work out that VCU plays Kentucky and Butler Connecticut in the semi-finals. That would really be interesting to watch.

HOG CALLS: AD deserves credit for moving swiftly

Anyone who pays any attention to an "investigative" article in Sports Illustrated is "crazy." This "rag" is more like The National Enquirer these days.

LIKE IT IS: Hogs stare down 21-point deficit, blink late

mvhlove74; I think being in the Sugar Bowl was better for the Razorback program even though we came up just short of a win. Ohio State did the things they had to do, we didn't. However, I'm so proud of this team for not thowing in the towel after a miserable first half. They didn't quit. And this coaching staff is SEC caliber, no question about it. I think the future looks good for the Razorback nation!

Arkansas vs. Ohio State: Razorbacks get back to work

The key to beating Ohio State will be how well the Razorback defense does. The Buckeyes like to run the ball first (at least that's their history)to set up play action passes. If the defense can control their run offense the Hogs will win. I think the Hogs will win. This team has not played it's best yet; so hopefully, they will do so in the Sugar Bowl!

Getting ‘A’ for effort

I think UTEP's scoring on a 50 plus yard run so quickly shocked the crowd. Then when they ran that kickoff back 104 yards that really shocked them. Then when Mallet, Davis and the receivers began their romp the crowd just settled back and enjoyed the show. Incidentally, that first touchdown catch by D. J. Williams was a thing of beauty....great catch!

Davis seizes spotlight on run

Todd Blackledge, the ESPN analyst, was most impressed with Davis run tiptoeing down the sideline to score. Many of you know, Blackledge was a pretty fair football player at Penn State back in the 1970-80's. That was an excellent run just to stay in bounds and reach the end zone; not many backs could do that!

Maestro Mallett

Keep the W's coming against the Gamecocks. However, the Hogs need to stop those dumb false start panalties. With experienced offensive lineman and receivers there is no excuse for those dumb penalties other than lack of concentration.
