Long did what needed to be done for UA
Couple of items. The coach had to be fired. U of A could not tell the world BCS bowls are more important than the integrity of the university. I have enjoyed the past two years as much as anyone. But, you can't make a deal with the devil. On a new coach, we need maturity. A coach who has been around. Maybe Phil Fulmer.

Long’s tall order: Determining Petrino’s fate
The issue to me is the hiring of someone (state job) who you had/have a sexual relationship with. It opens the door for all sorts problems. Both legal and personal. Long has a tough decision to make. I will support whatever decision he makes. I do hope he finds away to keep Petrino , but maybe he can't.

Players, fans pump life back into Walton
I fun game to watch. Actually my first one in about 3 years. We have some pretty good young players. They do remind me of the 1987 team. If Mike can keep them together, good times are not that far away. Go hogs
