Gruden...Major success as Pro Coach... very personable...very competitive guy...no doubt that he will be a great recruiter...and he has wild popularity nationally!! = Kids would knock themselves out to play for this guy. He also gives the Hogs an upside connection to ESPN (unlike the one BP had), has a positive Pro Football coaching history (unlike BP's) and a personal love for quarterbacks and other offensively talented athletes(like BP). He will keep the staff because he needs a year to acclimate himself to college football, it's rules, the recruiting process and the SEC. I can't find a negative here...IF Gruden wants the job!

Having only eight scholarship players made for a rough year...but a surprisingly successfull year since there was absolutely no experience to speak of when Powell went down. I figured 10-12 wins tops after that happened. MA is a very good recruiter and has a solid plan that will bring Championships back to Arkansas. I look for 22-23 wins next year with a full load of scholarships. After that, the sky's the limit!
Any way you look at this game, it was a brutal beat down. Maturity and 2 more years of Marshawn Powell should help us compete much better in the future.
What a great beginning for coach Anderson and his young team. It was like old times out there and the best thing is this team will get better together as the season progresses. Realistically, we won't be shooting 56% all the time, but win or lose, this team will be great fun to watch. Get your tickets, Hog fans. The wild ride with Hawg Ball has begun.
A great decision by Lee to hire Freeze. Too bad Freeze will have to deal with the challenge of the SEC West. I can't see him being able to recruit enough quality players to deal with the likes of Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU or even Mississippi State or Texas A & M. He may well wish he had stayed in Jonesboro! I do, however wish him the best!!

Top 10 predicted for Hogs
I believe he meant he wasn't asked to interview with ESPNU.
