Joe Adams may not be the fastest but as the SEC can testify to, they still can't catch him! Joe will do just fine and somebody will be a genius to nap him.
Except we seem to always catch the team playing their best ball.....what's the common denominator? I know these are young boys but so are the ones on the other side. We might as well save the gas money and mail in the road games.....maybe we can rest up for the home ones. I'm a little tired of the "ah shucks" routine....something is wrong and someone needs to figure it out. I said a while back that this looks just like our teams of the past few years, a couple of games to give us hope and then 4-5 to bring us back to reality. Maybe next year.....maybe.
I thought for the first road game, certainly of this caliber, that the boys did very well. We are young and inexperienced in these types of heated venues and with our stud down and out for the year was very proud of how they battled the defending national champions. This was some good ground work for the future and Coach A will use it to motivate and teach the guys how to move on and grow from it. It's one game in a long season and we should be focused on the SEC and go from there.
It was the DC I wanted to replace not the OC. Hard to keep the good ones. I'm not so sure Paul is the best thing for the program.....even if he is the coach's brother. He jumped ship once....how many times do we want to do this drill? I think CBP has demonstrated that Hogland is a great place to be, he should be able to persuade whomever to make the move to the hills. Coach McGee had a great temperament to balance CBP.....that will be hard to replace. As a pastor friend of mine is known to say, "Good men are hard to find and almost impossible to replace." Think that applies here. Best of everything Coach Mc......thanks for the thumbprint you put on Hog Nation. you will be missed and I'll be routing for ya just like I did Coach Anderson when he went there.
Ex-Hogs not near top in 40

13-point defeat heartens Hogs

Petrino heralds McGee, but UAB not confirming

Petrino’s displeasure amplified by cameras
And home depot sponsors gay pride day.....talk about your agendas!
Still would prefer to be a part of the "class" the Hogs demonstrate losing than the other side of the coin any day. WPS!!
