this year gives us a national presense. it will be easier to move up in the polls next year. we are expected to be a good team next year and contend for the SEC title. 1988 was a long time ago.
hey hogs, had we taken care of business in the first half, we would have won. personally i would rather lose against the best than win a game when half their players were gone. the fact is their best beat our best. there should be no shame, they were ranked ahead of us, had only lost one game. we played as bad as we could have played against the sixth best team in the country, and with a minute left in the game, were on their 20 with a chance to win. thats all you can ask for. forget all the excuses, things went their way and they won. hogs don't whine!
bucknut, congrats to you, love all the BS before the game, then all the praise on both sides after, at least your not texas. you were the only big ten team with speed, your secondary and linebackers must have played one helluva game, you completely cut out our crossing patterns over the middle, which is our bread and butter. i think you out prepared us and i'm sure our kids saw the pasteing the big ten took before last night. i wonder if that had anything to do with our slow start, meaning our kids thought you would play the same. you have a good team, don't understand how you lost to wisconsin.
we reverted back to the first half of the season, no defense in the first half, mallet not consistent, receivers can't remember how to catch a pass. we lost to a very good team, however we had a great season and can't go anywhere but up.
yesterday everybody talked about ohio state being 0-9 against SEC teams. the main reason was team speed. the SEC was the first conference that understood the value of speed, compared to big and slow big ten. when we were in the old SWC, broyles understood it, we were always the fastest, but small, when we joined the SEC they were fast and BIG. i don't know that much about O/S, but i thing they have really improved their team speed after the two thumpings by the SEC in title games. the question of course is it SEC speed. in the last few years, i don't think we win this game, however b/p has us up to par in the SEC when it comes to talent. i think we win it, but not until the fourth quarter.
Arkansas lands top defensive end
with petrino locked in, they are only going to get better.
5 years from now, we will be like LSU, win 12 games and want to fire coach because he didn't win title game.

New Year’s Day flops add to Buckeyes’ burden
be careful, this team has speed, compared to the rest of the big ten teams.
they will have something to prove.

Five Ohio State players suspended; will play in Sugar Bowl
typical NCAA, if your one of the choosen one's, like the t-sips, they will always look the other way.
however i wouldn't want it any other way. i want to play their best.
