Pete Roussel of CoachingSearch.com spoke to the Northwest Arkansas Touchdown Club on Wednesday and o

I'm really starting to warm up to Sonny Dykes. Phenomenal offense coach who runs a balanced attack, LT has run the ball more than passed this year. Texas background for recruiting doesn't hurt.

Hogs defense strong late in win

Negativity? It's called Reality. Bad team which will finish JLS Head Coaching career 0-3.

Hogs’ bye week: losing momentum vs. healing

Ole Miss is well coached, also has a bye week and will come to play. Jury still out on Hogs. Interesting matchup as a loss for either team seriously damages bowl chance.

Finding winnable games for Hogs not easy

Yeah give poor ole Wally a break, he don't even remember what he wrote back in August!

I think Auburn will RUN over the Hogs and play defense for an easy win. I don't see this team winning two in a row, so they lose to Ole Miss, I see a 3-9 season.

Strong: No plans to leave

Strong went out of his way to make a point, he made several strong statements to the fact he was not leaving. He is not interested in the Arkansas job.

It's ridiculous for people to post about Petrino coming back, think about it, he wouldn't take the job if offered. Most likely he already knows where he is going.

UA coaching prospects: Yes? No? Maybe?

Charlie Strong next UA head coach? Maybe not! From Jim Rome interview:

"I always say this: The athletic director here and president here gave me my first opportunity," Strong said. "I know a lot of times your name comes up with these different jobs, but when someone reaches out to you I owe it to them to uphold what we've been talking about. (A phone call from Arkansas) may not come. When I got this job, my name wasn't even in the mix with the Louisville job.

"I am fine where I'm at. I have got a lot of backing here and my family loves it here. I'm pretty comfortable where I'm at."

UA coaching prospects: Yes? No? Maybe?

I can't remember a coach that takes another job coaching the team he left in a bowl game. It may have happened, but not the norm. The team moves on with an interim and sometimes does very well in the bowl game.

UA coaching prospects: Yes? No? Maybe?

National Championship year was just the Media hype, but no Petrino led team loses to ULM with or without Wilson. That is one tough road schedule this year, w/Petrino 9-3 maybe 8-4 and a decent bowl.

Long has to hit the home run with the new hire and he better be having the news conference Tuesday after the LSU "beating" if this program is going to even be close to where it was for 2013.

Yeah, he ain't leaving MSU to come to Arkansas. 18 million dollar renovation of the Spartan facilities going on for Dantonio and football.

Wake me up when basketball season starts, please!

Want Davis? Patience, 5-year deal a must

Butch Davis DID NOT win a National Championship, if he takes over as HeadHog he will do so at the age of 61.
