The load music and constant commercials at War Memorial really interrupts the game and is very distracting for the fans. Every time the fans started to get worked up and create some noise, they were drowned out by all the loud music over the public address system. At times it seemed more like being inside Alltel arena for a concert than being at a football game. Frankly, I don't plan to come back to War Memorial again.
It's helpful to finally get the whole story on this episode. That reporter obviously isn't thinking straight. Posting comments about how she would rather be covering Florida while at an Arkansas scrimmage is just plain stupid.
It is interesting that both Coach Pel and Petrino stepped into tough situations after lots of heat on both the previous coaches. Petrino is a known quantity and has a reputation that will attract top notch talent. Pelphrey doesn't have that kind of reputation, but I think he has the potential to do a great job. He definitely deserves two more years, but after that .... who knows.
It looks like the kid may be growing up some. He has a million dollar arm but he sure needs a lot of coaching for that 10 cent head of his. Hopefully, missing lots of opportunities for easy completions in the Liberty Bowl will have him more focused next year. I can't wait to see how much the Hogs grow between '09 and '10. This team has learned a lot in the last two years and 2010 should be a great time to be a Razorback!
Mallet has a million dollar arm, but apparently a ten cent head. I can't believe on a fourth down, when he has a sure first down with a receiver right in front of him BUT he tries to get another 15 yards with another receiver on the sideline -- this kid needs a LOT MORE COACHING!

LIKE IT IS: UA defense shows up when needed most
Mallet gets the MVP with a terrible night? The MVP should have gone to ECUs sr. tailback that had over 150 yards against a sloppy defense.
