Razorbacks coach taking to social media

Agreed. SOCIAL MEDIA. Somebody shoot me with a shotgun. Who GIZ a s**t about SOCIAL MEDIA. I want to see a no nonsense coach only smile after a win. With his foot so far up his assts arses that they stay focused, an offense that stays crisp and the meanest defense on the planet. To work his offense and defensive lines til the sun goes down. And the kicking game. Man Petrino fixed that problem in a couple months. Nutt couldn't do in 10 years.

ANYWAY this year went from knowing we were going to kick butt to thinking we are going to kick butt.

SOCIAL MEDIA: BOOM BOOM BOOM.

Former Hog Abron transferring to TCU

BREAKING NEWS: New rule just passed down from the NCAA called the Razorback Rule. If you don't have a player over 6' 2" you get to start 6 players and if none of them average more than 2 rebounds a game you get to start 7 players.

Good luck Abron I hope you have a great career and take care of your family. Sounds like you are doing what a young man is supposed to do. Family first.

I wonder if you just don't recruit big at the end of the day if you will be big. OR I wonder if you recruit big at the end of the day if you give yourself a better chance of being big.

MORE BREAKING NEWS: Six feet seven AIN'T big on the road in the SEC. Six feet 7 is a big point guard. Did I say POINT GUARD? Wonder what that is?

Come on Coach MA we all believe in you and you know what you have to do. My advice would be to DO IT. Recruit baby recruit. Don't beg a kid, provide him an opportunity. An opportunity to get a great education, play in a great conference, play on TV every game and be part of a new dynasty. And hopefully when you are talking to them you are looking straight up. Or standing on their kitchen table.

GO HOGS.

Search will intensify as BCS dust settles

Forget the 4s and 5s maybe just recruit smart people like Jimmy Johnson used to do. Smart and fast. Smart kids wouldn't do what these three thugs just did. Obviously fast may not have much to do with it. I don't want to lose Wade but if video shows him walking into a dorm room (without a cane and a seeing eye dog) got to dismiss.

BTW thug defined by Webster's as rough criminal. Nothing more nothing less.

HogAuthority, Yeah I did defend Wade earlier when he knocked the guy's lights out. I thought he just needed to be held back a little. I remember saying rather have somebody with too much fire and work with that rather than somebody always having to find/light the fire. I don't remember bashing or beating you up about anything. I always agree with you and laugh at your chit.

As far as calling Wade a thug now, well now he is a thug. That's not my fault it's his fault. And not the media's fault, not his momma's fault, not CMFBP's fault, his fault. Tying your shoes, wiping your arse, not being a thief/felon and loving your momma, somethings you just gotta know. At some point (4 years old) you just have to learn something. These guys are 20ish. Are you kidding me?

Search will intensify as BCS dust settles

Wally with all the respect I can muster up this morning I can honestly say that when people bash you it bugs me because I have been reading your column forever however this article is just short of making me wish you a happy mother's day. The only way you could have said less is to have talked more.

Dude we have a coach, let's write how he's going to wake up this morning kick three thugs off the team, have a meeting with the others about the difference in a crazy college student and a thug criminal and roll straight ahead to the season. And kick major butt.

We all know that this season will decide how the coaching situation unfolds moving forward. Sporting News has our guy ranked 77th. It is what it is. It's Long's decision. We must be positive.

Please don't write an article wondering what color panties motorcycle momma had on when she hit the brush pile. Hopefully not the same color as my underwear when I found out she was back seat.

Three football Hogs arrested, charged with burglary

I would put their mug shots up somewhere permanently where every recruit and current player for the next 25 years could see them and read how they were kicked off the team immediately for "Crossing the line". Dismissed immediately, not for being a crazy college kid, for being a foolish budding criminal. No tolerance at all for that depth of character.

What a perfect chance for our new guy to show strict leadership that gets everybody's attention. Starting with the state of Arkansas.

Three football Hogs arrested, charged with burglary

I'm with ua87 get rid of these thugs period. This doesn't hurt the U of A football what hurts is if we don't kick them off. Roaming up and down the halls being sneaky stealing everything they can put their hands on.

We can't be a toothless tiger. Have to be a TIGER. This can either hurt recruiting or help. Send your kids to a school/team full of felons or one that will not tolerate such bulls**t.

Hope these guys get it together and have a great life and live to be 100 but as far as I'm concerned their Hog football career is OVA. Too stupid to help us anyway.

Go Hogs (and show some leadership). Some real leadership.
