Awesome punt return for Joe Adams. Ken Hatfield is a class guy. I would like to see him in a prominent role with the UofA athletic department. He exemplifies what it means to be a Razorback, as a student, player, coach, and supporter.
By the way, I feel very comfortable with Wilson in at QB. I think he also gives us more mobility at the position. His passing numbers will sky rocket if he gets more snaps in games.
Wally, why are you always trying to put a pretty face on our defense? We ranked last in the SEC, allowed almost 400 total yards against East Carolina, which, by the way, was our average of yards given up after 12 games this season (401.8). We cannot give up this kind of yardage every game and win championships. I don't know why Petrino continues to keep this defensive coaching staff. I know that there have been some bright spots on defense (Florida game), but you can't argue with the stats.

Why did Craig James decide to "leak" what was happening with his kid before the bowl? Could it be his own personal interest in the ESPN network and their ratings? You know that this story has been big for ESPN. What harm would it have done to wait until after the bowl game? Instead, the team is distracted and will probably lose the game. Locking an athlete in the closet is stupid.....but the news could have waited until after the game.
I think Mallet is a great QB, and not to take anything away from his God-given ability, but developing QB's is what Petrino does. Look at what he did with Casey Dick with about a 1/4 of the skilled firepower he will have next year. Whoever is behind center next year will break records and help the Razorbacks to one of their best years in the SEC.
Following a game like Florida where Mallett plays below his ability is just the scenario going in to the Ole Miss game that he will have a great game. I predict a season high performance from Mallett and that the hog defense continues to dominate.
Arkansas lineman Peacock arrested
A dumb decision for $35 could cost this guy his education and possible football career...what a waste.

Wilson’s effort provides solace
I'm ticked as well regarding our defense. However, if you look at SEC defensive stats, the Hogs are #5 of 12 teams in giving up total yards per game:
Team Yds/G
LSU 242.1
Alabama 288
Georgia 290.1
Florida 297.9
Arkansas 330.3
Mississippi St. 332.9
Mississippi 355
Kentucky 361.9
Auburn 367.9
South Carolina 371
Vanderbilt 378.8
Tennessee 381
