Arkansas Coach John Pelphrey spoke with the media Friday, answering questions and addressing the Razorbacks' second consecutive losing season during a 40-minute question-and-answer session. This is the first 35 minutes of the press conference.

Hate to say this but watching the Missouri v Clemson game on the TV....I remember when we played like that. Pel I have been in your corner but I don't sense the desparation that I feel like you need. In case you are curious, I don't feel like you are anywhere close to where the program needs to be. It is disturbing that you stated that we are close to being competitive top team. You didn't even get an NIT berth for the past two seasons and the program has went backwards since you arrived. If you don't get the recruits this year, I'm pretty sure this is it. It is for this Hog fan. BTW..start looking like a modern day head coach, dress and look sharp, tighten up you image, recruits like that stuff.
