The 'Miracle on Markham', 10 years later

Paul Eells call of the "Miracle on Markham", 10 years later. Quarterback Matt Jones found wide receiver DeCori Birmingham in the back corner of the end zone for a 31-yard touchdown with nine seconds left in the game, and placekicker David Carlton booted home a 35-yard extra point (an excess celebration penalty moved the kick back 15 yards) to give Arkansas a 21-20 victory over LSU in War Memorial Stadium on Nov. 29, 2002. The win gave the Razorbacks the SEC West Division title and sent them to the SEC Championship game in Atlanta.
