Arkansas gains third commitment for 2014

North Little Rock running back Juan Day will attend Arkansas' camp despite being an oral commitment and having nothing to prove.
LITTLE ROCK — North Little Rock junior running back Juan Day committed to Arkansas on Monday after receiving a scholarship offer earlier in the day.
Day (6-foot-2, 210 pounds, 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash) is the first cousin of former Arkansas running back Cedric Cobbs. He said he dreamed of being a Razorback player.
He wants to continue to be teammates with running back Altee Tenpenny - an Alabama verbal commit - in the future and plans to recruit him to be a Hog. Day rushed for more than 900 yards this past season, helping the Charging Wildcats to the semifinals of the Class 7A playoffs.
Day is the second in-state player to commit to Arkansas in the junior class, joining El Dorado defensive tackle Bijhon Jackson, who committed last month.
