Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema and receivers coach Michael Smith were in Louisiana on Monday and checked on all of the commitments in the state. They also hit Mississippi, New York and New Jersey before arriving back in Fayetteville this morning.

Bielema, defensive line coach Charlie Partridge, linebacker Randy Shannon and cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson will be in Florida on Friday.

Also on Friday, offensive coordinator Jim Chaney will be in Charleston to watch 2015 quarterback commitment Ty Storey. Running backs coach Joel Thomas will travel to Newton, Texas to check on running back Kevin Shorter while Smith will be in the Dallas area.

Tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. will also be on the road on Friday. Offensive line coach Sam Pittman is expected to check on 2015 offensive line commitment Colton Jackson of Conway either Friday or sometime in the near future.

The Hogs are still looking at the junior college ranks but will be very particular. Arkansas will use up the 42 in-season evaluations that's allotted by the NCAA.
