Small forward Doobie Jenkins has committed to Arkansas during his official visit to Fayetteville. He and his father arrived around noon on Friday.
Jenkins, 6-7, 215 pounds, played at Naples (Fla.) First Baptist Academy this past season and averaged 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals a game. He'll enroll and play for the Hogs this season.
He was planning to attend prep school as a 2016 prospect until receiving an offer from the Razorbacks a couple weeks ago.
Jenkins had scholarship offers from Chattanooga, The Citadel, Kennesaw State, Richmond, Tennessee Tech and Virginia Military.
