Dallas Nike Combine tidbits

Little Rock Christian junior running back Damarea Crockett received extra attention from Nike officials after posting the second best SPARQ rating in the nation on Saturday.

— Little Rock Christian junior running back Damarea Crockett, 6-0, 209 scored the highest SPARQ rating at today's Dallas Nike Combine.

He had an electronic time of 4.71 seconds in the 40 yard dash, 40.3 vertical jump, 4.01 seconds in the pro-shuttle and threw the power ball 36 feet. His score of 124.62 was the best out of approximately 1,200 athletes at the Dallas event and is second best nationally.

Pulaski Robinson junior athlete T.J. Hammonds, 5-11, 189 scored a 106.41 rating with a time of 4.66 seconds in the 40 yard dash, 34.7 vertical jump, 4.03 pro-shuttle and a 35 foot power ball toss.

Bryant junior defensive lineman Cameron Murray, 6-2, 277 had a very impressive 94.77 with a 5.17 time in the 40, 27.3 vertical, 4.63 shuttle and a 45.5 power ball toss. His power ball toss was the best at the event and is the third best in the nation this year.

Benton junior linebacker Ben Brasuell, 6-1, 218 had a 88.59 rating with a 4.81 time in the 40, 29.9 vertical, 4.43 shuttle and 37 power ball.

Sophomore running back Deshawn Gulledge, 5-9, 160 scored a 93.42 with a 4.63 time in the 40, 39.7 vertical, 4.13 shuttle and 28.5 power ball.

Junior receiver Adontae Winston, 6-0, 189 of Benton had a 110.58 score with a 4.73 time in the 40, 37.8 vertical, 4.10 shuttle and 37.5 power ball.

Sophomore receiver Joshua Johnson, 5-10, 163 scored a 80.73 with a 4.83 time in the 40, 35.3 vertical, 4.26 shuttle and 31.5 power ball.

Benton junior linebacker Ben Brasuell, 6-1, 218 scored a 88.59 with a 4.81 time in the 40, 29.9 vertical, 4.43 shuttle and 37 power ball.

Conway junior defensive lineman Austin Norris, 6-5, 239 scored a 68.07 with a 5.14 time in the 40, 26.7 vertical, 4.58 shuttle, and 33 power ball.

Junior receiver Devin Duvernay, 5-11, 193 of Sachse, Texas had the second best score of the day with a 120.57. He had the best 40 time with a 4.38. The time is the best at a Nike Combine this year. He also had a 37.7 vertical, 4.24 shuttle and 37 power ball. He has more than 20 offers, including Arkansas.

He said he and Arkansas running backs coach Jemal Singleton talked on Friday. He's considering taking a visit to Fayetteville.

Junior defensive back Trenton Dunn of Pulaski Robinson scored a 77.91 with a 4.76 time in the 40, 32.8 vertical, 4.40 shuttle and 32 power ball.

Newport junior running back Carl Turner, 5-9, 224 scored a 92.82 with a 4.77, 34.5 vertical, 4.63 shuttle and 37 power ball.

Harmony Grove defensive back Jon Johnson, 6-1, 200 had a score of 101.49 with a 4.74 time in the 40, 34 vertical, 4.18 shuttle and 36.5 power ball.

Junior receiver Jeffery Hall, 5-7, 152 of Camden Fairview scored a 104.82 with a 4.66 time in the 40, 41.3 vertical, 4.04 shuttle and 33 power ball.

Little Rock Christian receiver Joe Hampton, 6-1, 183 had a score of 101.19 with a 4.58 time in the 40, 35.8 vertical, 4.35 shuttle and 37 power ball.

Junior defensive back Denzel Lee McElroy, 5-9, 175 of Little Rock Parkview scored a 98.25 with a 4.73 time in the 40, 37.2 vertical, 4.40 shuttle and 39 power ball.

North Little Rock junior defensive back Garrett Lawson, 5-9, 157 scored a 108.18 with a 4.71 time in the 40, 41.6 vertical, 4.23 shuttle and 39 power ball.

Camden Fairview junior linebacker Raymond Hill, 5-11, 229 scored a 104.46 with a 4.87 time in the 40, 37.6 vertical, 4.50 shuttle and 39.5 power ball.
