Baylor commitment reopens recruiting, plans visit to Arkansas

Baylor tight end commitment Kedrick James has reopened his recruiting after the expected firing of Coach Art Briles.

As reported Monday, James, 6-6, 247, 4.81, of Waco (Texas) La Vega plans to visit Arkansas this summer.

He has scholarship offers from schools like Arkansas, Michigan, Texas, Texas A&M, Michigan, Illinois, Miami and others. ESPN rates him the No. 259 overall prospect in the nation.

His grandmother, Dr. Charlene Johnson-Carter, is an associate professor at Arkansas and his uncle, Damani Carter is a fullback for the Hogs.
