QB Daulton Hyatt of Attalah, Ala., Etowah:

"I think they played great as a whole. They fought the whole game and played with a lot of will to win. I saw some things I really liked with the offense and I think Austin made some good plays and throws."

OL Shane Clenin of Festus, (Mo.) Jefferson:

"It was a hard fought win. It was great seeing the team work hard in the off-season and then applying their efforts onto the field. The atmosphere was something that I have never experienced before and it was very exciting to hear all the screaming fans."

DB Korey Hernandez of Ellenwood, (Ga.) Cedar Grove:

"I am definitely excited about the win, but just like many other schools this first game shows us where we need to improve, we can only go up from here."

Sophomore S Brian Williams of Dallas Bishop Dunne:

"It was a hard fought win. La. Tech put up a good fight but Arkansas found a way to pull it out. Great win."

RB Chase Hayden of Collierville (Tenn.) St. George's Independent School:

"I thought it was good game, I was impressed with the offensive scheme and the different formations the offense ran. I was also impressed with Rawleigh Williams and how he ran."

Junior QB Connor Noland of Greenwood:

"I thought they played tough and showed some heart to win. Some stuff didn't go their way, but they made the most of their opportunities and came out with a win. It's a good way to start off the year with a win."

OL Kirby Adcock of Nashville:

"It was a fun game to be at. The loudness of the crowd during 4th down conversions is amazing, especially when the game was on the line. The Hogs fought through some adversity and it was just a fun game to watch."
