— Redshirt freshman quarterback Cole Kelley could rejoin the team as soon as Sunday after being indefinitely suspended for Saturday's 28-21 loss to Mississippi State as a result of his arrest on suspicion of DWI and careless driving.

"If he checks all the boxes that I asked him to check before this week was over, which I think he's done, making contact with all the people he has to, he'll be back with us on Sunday and be able to engage with us the last week," coach Bret Bielema said.

Kelley was arrested early Sunday, Nov. 12, the day after the loss at LSU. He was suspended from football activities but still allowed access to medical treatment and the academic center.

Senior Austin Allen started against Mississippi State and completed 12 of 18 passes for 124 yards. Bielema did not indicate who the starting quarterback would be if Kelley was reinstated.

Arkansas is 2-5 this year with Allen as the starter and 2-2 with Kelley in the role.
