Tuesday recruiting tidbits: Elite prospect to visit Hogs in Feb.

One of the nation's top junior prospects is planning to make his way to Fayetteville to visit Arkansas.

Highly recruited safety Jalen Catalon and his teammate and recent Arkansas offer defensive lineman Enoch Jackson Jr. plan to visit the Hogs on Feb. 24.

Catalon, 5-10, 180 of Mansfield, (Texas) Mansfield Legacy has more than 30 offers from schools like Arkansas, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Clemson, Texas and others. ESPN rates him the No. 8 safety and No. 110 overall prospect in the nation for the 2019 class.

Jackson, 6-1, 270 received an offer from Arkansas on Monday.

Defensive tackles coach John Scott Jr. visited St. John's College in Washington DC St. John's College to see defensive end Caleb Okechukwu, who plans to visit the Hogs on Feb. 2.

Camden Fairview offensive tackle Stacey Wilkins, 6-7, 270 plans to announce his college decision on May 26th. He has offers from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Memphis, Arkansas State and others.

Highly recruited receiver Tommy Bush hosted Arkansas Coach Chad Morris, offensive coordinator Joe Craddock and receivers coach Justin Stepp for an in-home visit Monday night. He said the coaches provided him a lot of information, including how they can use him in the offense like they did with SMU receiver Courtland Sutton.

Sutton is projected to be a high draft pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Bush, 6-5, 187, 4.47, of Schertz (Texas) Clemens has officially visited Georgia, Nebraska and Michigan State. He has more than 40 scholarship offers from schools such as Arkansas, Texas, Southern Cal, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Florida State, Baylor, Alabama and others. He had a prior relationship with the staff at SMU.

Junior running back Darwin Barlow, 5-11, 192 of Newton High School in Texas said Arkansas running backs coach Jeff Traylor will visit his school on Thursday. He's a strong candidate to receive an offer from the Hogs. He has offers from Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU and others.

Quarterback John Stephen Jones, 5-10 1/2, 185 pounds, 4.6 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Dallas Highland Park plans to visit Arkansas on Feb. 2. He has offers from Texas Tech, SMU, Kansas and others.

He has a blueshirt offer from the Razorbacks. As a blueshirt, Jones would pay his own way and go through team activities for a semester, then go on scholarship in the fall or the following year and count toward the 2019 class.
