Zach Zimos
Brandy Zimos, the mother of Arkansas outside linebacker commitment Zach Zimos, told why she was won over by the Razorback coaching staff on Recruiting Thursday.
Zimos, 6-4, 215, 4.59 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Richmond (Texas) Travis, chose the Hogs over scholarship offers from Missouri, Texas Tech, California, Purdue, Boise State, Houston and others on July 28. He officially visited Arkansas, Missouri, Purdue and Texas Tech.
Arkansas checked all the boxes:
"Arkansas just checked more than anybody else. It's not just about the football program or the facilities and the education. It's the whole package. And you actually go there and visit and talk to everybody that's how those boxes started getting checked off one-by-one once we were actually there in-person."
She and her husband Scott approved of Zach's decision:
"We're extremely thrilled with his decision, One hundred precent on board and just so excited for him."
