ESPN 4-star guard Bryce Thompson thrilled by Arkansas offer, planning visit

Highly regarded junior guard Bryce Thompson and his father Rod joined Recruiting Thursday to discuss Bryce's offer from Arkansas on Wednesday and plans to visit.

Thompson, 6-5, 170 pounds of Booker T. Washington in Tulsa has other scholarship offers from schools like Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas A&M, Iowa, Oklahoma State, Minnesota, Houston, DePaul and others.

Rod, is the director of Oklahoma Run PWP, a spring and summer basketball team. He and former Razorbacks great and Tulsa native Lee Mayberry are good friends.

Rod said they're looking to visit:

"I talked to Scotty (Thurman) a little bit today. Pretty soon the Razorbacks are gonna play the Golden Hurricanes in football, so we may try and set it up around there."

Arkansas freshman guard Keyshawn Embery, who played for Oklahoma Run PWP, talked to Bryce:

"He told me it's amazing. That I need to go ahead and commit and come on early. He said it's good. He said the teammates are cool and Coach Anderson is even cooler. He's said nothing, but good things about the Razorbacks."
