— Arkansas' 2019-20 basketball schedule will include a home game against Montana.

The Razorbacks and Grizzlies are scheduled to play Saturday, Nov. 16 at Bud Walton Arena, according to Montana's schedule that was released Wednesday. It will be the first meeting between the programs.

Montana was an NCAA Tournament team the past two seasons and lost to Michigan in the first round both times. The Grizzlies ended last season with a 26-9 overall record and won both the regular-season and tournament championships in the Big Sky Conference.

The Grizzlies are coached by Travis DeCuire, who in four seasons has taken Montana to the postseason three times, including the NIT in his first year.

Montana must replace three of its four leading scorers from last season. The Grizzlies' top returners are senior guard Sayeed Pridgett, who averaged 15.1 points and made 46.3 percent of his 3-point attempts last season, and redshirt senior guard Kendal Manuel, who averaged 8.7 points off the bench.

Arkansas has yet to release its schedule for the coming season, but eight dates have been learned through schedule releases by the Razorbacks' opponents. Arkansas is scheduled to host Rice in a Nov. 5 season opener, as well as home games against North Texas (Nov. 12), Texas Southern (Nov. 19), Tulsa (Dec. 14) and TCU in the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Jan. 25.

The Razorbacks have scheduled road games at Georgia Tech on Nov. 25 and Western Kentucky on Dec. 7. Arkansas is under contract to play a game at Indiana, but a date has not been announced for that game.
