FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas tight end Grayson Gunter has entered the NCAA transfer portal, WholeHogSports confirmed Thursday.

A native of Madison, Miss., Gunter caught six passes for 55 yards and a touchdown as a junior in 2019. His lone scoring grab came in the Razorbacks’ season-ending loss to Missouri in Little Rock.

Gunter finishes his Arkansas career with 11 catches for 135 yards and two touchdowns. He caught his first touchdown pass in 2018 in a 23-0 win over Tulsa. He had one reception for 29 yards as a true freshman in 2016.

Gunter, whose father played football at Ole Miss from 1989-91, was a three-star recruit out of Mississippi and the No. 2 tight end in the state, according to Scout. ESPN ranked him the No. 34 tight end in his class.

A standout at Madison Central High School, Gunter chose Arkansas over Mississippi State, Southern Mississippi, Memphis, Louisiana Tech and other programs.
