Tuesday recruiting tidbits: Targets planning to visit the Hill

• Two teammates and Arkansas targets are planning to visit Fayetteville in March.

Junior linebacker Drew Francis (6-2, 200 pounds) and defensive end Tyrece Edwards (6-3, 230) of Knoxville (Tenn.) West plan to visit Arkansas on March 2. Both have Arkansas offers.

• Junior all-purpose back Chris Vaughn (5-7, 160 pounds) of Round Rock (Texas) Cedar Ridge plans to visit Arkansas on March 9. He's the son of former Arkansas assistant Chris Vaughn, who was on Houston Nutt's Arkansas staff from 1999-2007. He has offers from Arkansas, Missouri and South Florida.

• Highly regarded freshman quarterback offer MJ Morris (6-1, 170) of Carrollton, Ga., said he plans to attend an Arkansas summer camp on June 14. The Hogs offered him last week.

• Junior offensive lineman Brady Ward (6-7, 310) of St. Paul's Episcopal in Mobile, Ala., plans to arrive in Fayetteville next Thursday to have dinner with the coaches and then will visit campus the following day.

Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Tennessee, Oregon, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss are some of his offers.

• Highly recruited sophomore defensive end Landon Jackson (6-5, 225) of Texarkana (Texas) Pleasant Grove is expected to visit Arkansas on Feb. 23 and March 9.

Arkansas, Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor, Kansas, Texas Tech and several others have offered.
