FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas will host North Texas for a basketball game in November.

The game is scheduled to be played Tuesday, Nov. 12, according to a report from the Twitter account D1Docket, which tracks college basketball scheduling. Neither school has officially announced the matchup.

The Mean Green finished the 2018-19 season with a 21-12 record and 8-10 mark in Conference USA play.

North Texas is coached by Grant McCasland, who served as an assistant coach at Baylor from 2011-16 and head coach at Arkansas State in 2016-17. Mean Green guard Umoja Gibson headlines players returning next season. He averaged a team-high 12.6 points per game and was named to the C-USA All-Freshman team.

Arkansas is 14-0 all-time against North Texas.

North Texas is the fourth known nonconference opponent for the Razorbacks in 2019-20.

The Razorbacks are also scheduled to play at Indiana, at Georgia Tech and at Western Kentucky, plus the Big 12/SEC Challenge. Arkansas' opponent has not been announced for the challenge.

Based on previous Big 12/SEC Challenges, games have been played during the conference schedule on the final Saturday in January. The Razorbacks are expected to be a home team for the challenge next season.

Matchups at Indiana, Georgia Tech and Western Kentucky will serve as the back end of previously-scheduled home-and-home series. It is believed Arkansas will face the Hoosiers in the early portion of the nonconference season, and the Georgia Tech game will be played Nov. 25.

The date for the Razorbacks’ road game against the Hilltoppers is unknown.
