Arkansas pitcher Barrett Loseke struck out 10 and retired all 13 batters he faced in 4 1/3 innings of a 5-1 victory over No. 4 Texas Tech at Baum Stadium.

The Red Raiders entered the game top 10 nationally in most offensive categories, but struck out 17 times. The 17 strikeouts tied an Arkansas program record.

The Razorbacks scored all five of their runs in the first two innings, and held Texas Tech scoreless over the final six.

It was the first of two victories for Arkansas over Texas Tech in 2018. The Razorbacks defeated the Red Raiders 7-4 at the College World Series, when Loseke pitched three scoreless innings and struck out five.

Texas Tech combined to strike out 31 times against Arkansas that season.
