— Arkansas' football schedule will be bookended with games against the two SEC favorites in 2020.

The Razorbacks are scheduled to open the season with a Sept. 26 game against Georgia and end the year with a Dec. 5 game against Alabama. Both games are scheduled to be played in Fayetteville.

Arkansas' other home games this year are scheduled for Oct. 17 against Ole Miss, Nov. 7 against Tennessee and Nov. 21 against reigning national champion LSU.

The Razorbacks have road games scheduled at Mississippi State on Oct. 3, Auburn on Oct. 10, Texas A&M on Oct. 31, Florida on Nov. 14 and Missouri on Nov. 28.

The games against Texas A&M and Missouri are scheduled to be played on those teams' campuses. They were initially scheduled to be played in NFL stadiums in Arlington, Texas, and Kansas City.

The Razorbacks' game at Texas A&M will be the first between the teams away from AT&T Stadium since 2013. The teams are under contract to play at the Dallas Cowboys' home stadium through 2024, but Texas A&M lobbied for the game to be moved when it lost a marquee nonconference home game against Colorado.

Arkansas athletics director Hunter Yurachek previously said if this year's game is moved to the Aggies' Kyle Field, he would expect the 2021 game to be played in Fayetteville. Both sides have indicated they plan to end the neutral-site series after their contract expires in 2024.

The Razorbacks' game against Missouri was originally scheduled to be played at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs. Attendance for that series has been low for several years on both teams' campuses. Arkansas moved the Missouri game to Little Rock last season.

Arkansas will open the season against a conference opponent in Fayetteville for the first time in 106 seasons of conference membership. Georgia, which is ranked No. 4 in the preseason USA Today Coaches Poll, was one of two opponents added to Arkansas' schedule after the SEC switched to a 10-game, conference-only schedule last month.

The SEC also added a game against Florida, ranked No. 8 by coaches.

Arkansas, which has lost 19 consecutive SEC games, is scheduled to play all six SEC teams ranked in the preseason coaches poll. In addition to Georgia and Florida, Alabama is ranked No. 3, LSU is No. 5, Auburn is No. 11 and Texas A&M in No. 13.

The Razorbacks' game against Alabama would be its first regular-season game in December since a 38-24 victory over SMU in Little Rock in 1989.
