FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas defensive lineman Xavier Kelly is entering the 2021 NFL Draft.

Kelly, a graduate transfer from Clemson, made the announcement in a post to his Twitter account on Wednesday.

“I would like to thank God for blessing me throughout my college career,” Kelly wrote. “I would also like to thank the University of Arkansas for accepting me into their family. Playing with this team, getting to know these guys, and working with this coaching staff has been such a great experience that I will always cherish.

“I have learned so much during my time here that I will take with me both on and off the field. I would like to thank my coaches for taking me under their wings and pouring into me every day whether it’s on the field, in the weight room, or just one on one conversations.”

Kelly finished with eight tackles in nine games played in 2020. He totaled two tackles against Mississippi State, Auburn and Missouri, and recorded a sack in Arkansas’ home win over Tennessee.

Less than two hours after Kelly’s announcement, Razorbacks quarterback and place holder Jack Lindsey tweeted that he will enter the NCAA’s transfer portal.

“I would like to say I love the Arkansas Football program, and I am truly blessed to have played Football at my Dream school for 5 seasons with 4 different head coaches,” Lindsey wrote. “I would like to thank all my teammates and coaches, and wish them the best of luck in the future.

“Coach (Sam) Pittman and his staff are great coaches and they are going to get it done at Arkansas. Forever a hog.”

In his Arkansas career, Lindsey completed 13 of 30 passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns. He passed for 75 yards and two touchdowns against Missouri in his first start on Nov. 29, 2019.

Lindsey also rushed for 100 yards on only eight carries. The highlight of his 2020 season was a 20-yard run on a fake field goal in the Razorbacks’ 50-48 loss at Missouri.

Arkansas defensive back Myles Mason has also entered the transfer portal, according to a report from AL.com's Matt Zenitz. He recorded 33 tackles this season, including nine against Ole Miss and LSU, and started in three of the team's final four games.
